Vintage Paradise: 9th Annual Fair Celebrates Collectibles, Fashion, and Home Decor Gems

The 9th Annual Vintage Fr took place on April 6-7, 2024 Saturday and Sunday, featuring a curated collection of items from various event partners. These included vintage collectibles, fashion pieces, bags, jewelry, home decor, toys, among other unique items that made for an exciting shopping experience.

The highlight of the event was the diverse range of exhibitors who brought their personal touch to the fr:

• Black Bean Source - A passionate collector and purveyor of timeless vintage treasures. The selection includes rare vintage watches like Seikos, Swiss Army knives, antique yo-yos, slot s, among other curiosities. These items offer not only utility but also serve as conversation starters or decorative pieces for the discerning buyer.

• Eye Of The Cat Jewellery x Peony Jade - A partnership between Jennifer Banse founder of Eye of The Cat Jewellery and Precilia Wong founder of Peony Jade Jewels. They specialize in sourcing unique antique and vintage jewelry with captivating stories and historical significance. Each piece they present is a one-of-a-kind treasure that is not only aesthetically pleasing but also steeped in history.

• Jeff Ong - An office worker by day, but night he becomes an enthusiast of vintage collectibles. He's particularly passionate about items from his childhood like Star Wars and Disney merchandise or any toy collector might appreciate. Jeff sees joy in sharing these fond memories with others who might cherish them too.

• PeppervintHome - Think of a modern treasure hunter who carefully curates unique vintage home decor sourced worldwide, ranging from mid-century modern glassware to quirky 90s pottery. Every piece is chosen for its beauty and ability to add character to your living space.

• Pick Me Up Coffee Roasters - A cozy cafe in Havelock that specializes in brewing coffee from local roasters. At the Vintage Fr, they will showcase a selection of their freshly roasted beans, offering visitors an immersive experience with coffee sourced from different regions, making for a perfect pring with vintage finds.

• Selfie Vintage - Founded in 2019 by enthusiasts passionate about wearable vintage fashion that remns relevant and affordable today. They curate dresses, blouses, and skirts that are not just stylish but also carry the stories of their past lives.

• Wicked Wants - A boutique business run by Farah Aziz that focuses on vintage bags for modern women. Initially inspired by her overflowing collection, she turned her passion into a successful venture dedicated to making vintage items accessible while promoting sustnability in fashion.
